Format:

All Doubles Tournaments - Notable Rules: Shourt Court (7m. x 7m. sides), rally scoring - except final pt. (cuervo), block counts as touch, let serve, penetration under center line is legal unless interfering, illegal to touch any part of net (guide wires and poles are okay)

Men's / Women's - Normal play, respective net heights

Reverse Coed 2's - The net is set to women's height and men will swing behind the 10 ft. line. Each set will be played to 21 or 25 pts.

Levels:

In order of most difficult to least:

Adult - Open, AA, A, BB, B,

Juniors - JO (going into senior year or younger)

Cost:

$50 per adult team, $25 juniors (Pre-paid by Thursday prior to tournament)

$55 per adult team, $30 juniors (Pre-paid by Thursday prior to tournament)

$60 per adult team, $35 juniors (Walk-on - show up before 8:30am at the tournament)

2) Show-Up on Time - The tournament will start whether you are there or not. Please adhere to the timelines below so we don't have to forfeit your spot in the tournament.

Tournament protocol:

Every player needs to check in before 8:45, or a $5 late charge will be assessed. If you are not pre-paid or AVP registered, you need to be at the check-in table before 8:30. No exceptions. The tournament directors will begin to make final pool sheets at 8:45. The rules will be read at 9am, and play will begin promptly between 9:10-9:15.

If you need to reach us the morning of the tournament, the following numbers will be available:(518)229-6689 and (518) 229-8840. In the morning, there will be a CDGD member who will be there to answer any questions about rules, where to park, and put your stuff, etc. PLEASE HELP US START THINGS ON TIME!

How do I pay?:

One of 2 ways:

2. Pay at the tournament (cash or check only)

Prize Guarantee (for doubles tournaments only):

Men's and Women's Open- 1st Place $200/team, 2nd place $100/team (4 team minimum but will increase based on turnout)
Men's and Women's A - 1st Place $80/team, 2nd place $40/team (4 team minimum)
Reverse Coed Open - 1st Place $300/team, 2nd place $150/team (4 team minimum but will increase based on turnout)
Reverse Coed AA - 1st Place $120/team, 2nd place $60 team (4 team minimum)
A, BB, B and JO levels will receive prizes for the top two places. If there are more than 2 pools in the division, prizes will be given out to top 4 places.
